We are a dedicated martial arts academy and member of the Rafael Lovato Jr. Jiu-Jitsu Association. Our programs help students become masters in the art of Brazilian jiu-jitsu and judo while teaching them to embody the principles of martial arts off the mats. Offering specialized programs for kids, adults, females and competitors, the community we've built welcomes individuals of all ages and experience levels.
Programs

Kids Jiu-Jitsu
Jiu-jitsu builds physical fitness, self-discipline, and confidence. Constraint based games, engaging techniques, and sparring sessions help kids learn valuable life skills while also having fun.

Women's Only Jiu Jitsu
Jiu-jitsu isn't a silver bullet but it helps you think more clearly and make wiser choices when threatened. If all else fail, it provides skills to use against an attacker. Jiu-jitsu helps you become confident, capable & in control.
Cornerstone Comp Team
Gain valuable experience and showcase your talent against like-minded athletes. Competition is one of the best avenues for testing your abilities and rapidly growing your skills.
Adults Judo
Become a complete martial artist through our judo program. Build confidence in your standing exchanges and learn techniques that translate effectively from takedown control to mat dominance.
Adults Gi Jiu-Jitsu
Gi classes emphasize the foundational techniques of jiu-jitsu and show how grips can help a smaller person dominate a larger opponent. Students of all levels will improve their skills.
Adults No Gi Jiu-Jitsu
No-gi jiu-jitsu is a modern and fast-paced grappling style. Whether you're a beginner or an experienced grappler, no-gi offers an exciting way to enhance your skills and stay active.

Jiu-Jitsu requires strength & mobility training and recovery. With dedicated strength training space and a steam room, our students have the resources needed to round out their training.

Andrew Trace
Coach
A lifelong martial artist, Andrew started his grappling career at the age of 5 with wrestling, a sport he took into college. As a professional MMA fighter he competed against multiple athletes who went on to fight in the UFC and ended his MMA career with a 7-2 pro record and an undefeated 11-0 amateur record. Not only is Andrew is a brown belt in Brazilian jiu-jitsu under Rafael Lovato Jr, training for nearly two decades in the sport but he holds a brown belt in Japanese jiu-jitsu as well. Blending these disciplines into his own unique style of "Tracejitsu", Andrew is a regular coach at our week day classes.
Vlad Eydelman
Head Judo Instructor
Sensei Vlad began studying judo at 10 under Sensei Takayuki Yoshinago, 8th Dan, and is himself a San Dan (3rd degree black belt). As a strong youth national competitor, he restarted the IU Judo Program in 1991 which thrives today. Vlad's instruction focuses on strong fundamentals, leverage, timing and the principles of safe & respectful training. His vision is for our judo program to develop well-rounded athletes, with emphasis on physical and mental health as judo requires both a disciplined mind and a body capable of executing with confidence, timing & control.
